At Boutinot, we believe that great wines begin with the land. Nestled across renowned wine regions, our carefully selected vineyards form the backbone of our winemaking journey. Each plot of land tells a unique story through the vines it cradles, embodying the essence of terroir—a harmonious blend of soil, climate, and grape varieties.

BOUTINOT RHÔNE
More than three decades ago, Boutinot crafted its inaugural wine in the Southern Rhône, initiating a journey towards expertise in the region through collaboration with small domaines and growers. Over the years, strong relationships were cultivated with partners, allowing the discovery of captivating parcels each vintage. By 2005, Boutinot's portfolio expanded to encompass Côtes du Rhône Villages Sablet, Séguret, and Cairanne. Recognizing the significance of a permanent presence, Boutinot took the natural next step of establishing a base in the region. Several vintages later, a unique opportunity emerged, leading to the creation of Domaine Boutinot Rhône in Cairanne in 2010.
Boutinot has established a solid presence in New Zealand, aiming to strengthen its partnership in the region. This strategic move involves a focused approach tailored specifically for New Zealand, marked by the acquisition of Heaphy, a well-established winery nestled in Nelson. This acquisition encompasses a comprehensive package, including a winery, residence, bed and breakfast cottage, and expansive vineyards.
