Meet the Producer

Condominio appeared as the result of an initiative by a group of grape growers in the Penafiel district, a zone within the Ribera del Duero Appellation.

A "condominium" is a territory in or over which two or more soverign powers formally agree to share equally dominium and exerise their rights jointly, without dividing it up into "national" zones.

The name was derived from con, meaning "together" combines with dominium meaning "right of ownership"

It is the perfect name for a wine that comes from a cooperative. Founded in 2001, a group of growers from the Penafiel city heart of the Ribera del Duero area decided to work together and create this modern winery, grouping 21ha of only Temranillo grapes with an average age of 37 years.
