Tasting Notes
A beautifully balanced, fresh, bright and clean wine. The nose has dark fruit and black cherry aromas. These dark fruit flavors follow through on to the palate along with a cool minty, leafy character. There is a gentle spice finish, that supports the approachable tannic structure.
Production
The grapes for Montevista Cabernet Sauvignon are grown in the vineyards situated in the Maule Valley. We have a long standing working relationship with the growers in the region which enables us to source premium fruit, with the ultimate aim of making excellent quality Chilean house wines with a true style and character. The grapes are harvested during the coolest part of the day to ensure they reach the winery in prime condition. Temperatures are kept fairly low throughout the winemaking process to allow the grapes to express their natural fruit characters.
