This Chardonnay is an ideal wine to accompany all sorts of seafood, salads and white meats. A few suggestions are grilled sword fish, salmon, shrimp cocktail, lobster, a seafood lasagna and orange/thyme chicken. For desert, try berry tartlets!
Tasting Notes
This bright yellow wine with golden hints is recognized for it's strong citrus aromas which accompany a superb mineral character. On the nose, aromas of tropical fruits like pineapples combined with citrus grapefruit notes. In the mouth, fruity flavors combine with a balanced minerality, giving it a nice freshness.
Production
A beautiful Chardonnay from the privileged Maule Valley, a coastal area near the Pacific Ocean. The grapes are hand picked in March and April, to ensure they reach the winery in prime condition. These old vines have been around for over 30+ years. The vines enjoy the red clay, minerally soil from this region.
