Food Match

Served chilled as an aperitif or to complement salads, seafood, sushi and light hors d'oeuvres. It is a great accompaniment to soups like a sweet corn cream or cold cucumber soup. Dishes like, meagre with sautéed vegetables, seafood salad, calamari risotto or a nice salmon pasta are always welcomed.

Tasting Notes

Nice crisp, pale yellow-green wine. On the nose, fresh aromas of white flowers and fine citric notes of grapefruit combine with green apples and white peaches. On the mouth it is crisp and delicate with a pleasant minerality.

Production

The Sierra Grande Sauvignon Blanc grapes are grown in the privileged Maule Valley where the vineyards benefit from the warm climate conditions to produce this refreshing wine. The strong Pacific Ocean influence and red clayish soils concur to foster this crisp, pale yellow-green wine. The grapes are hand picked in March on the Hijuela Estate, which is one of the coolest areas in the Maule Valley.
