Tasting Notes
This Italian Pinot Grigio Rosé reminds us of red fruit tarts (with an added yummy scoop of vanilla ice cream) tastes of ripe cherries and fresh raspberries.
Production
Produced from grapes grown in the Pavia region of northern Italy. The ripest grapes were selected from mature hillside vineyards. The grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness, crushed and the skins left in contact with the juice for 12 hours at low temperatures before gentle pressing. After a slow, cool fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, the wine was bottled young to preserve freshness and aromas.
