This wine is crying out for Carpaccio all Piemontese!!

Berry fruit with a dash of spice. Dark, velveteen black-cherry fruit veiled in spice and pepper with a lick of creamy oak ? like a deep cherry pie with a naughty splash of clotted cream on the side. This very limited release can be enjoyed now or cellar for up to seven years.

Sourced from three low-yielding vineyard sites in the Barossa Valley. The majority comes from Kalimna, with smaller parcels from Western Ridge. Aged mainly in 475 liter puncheons for 22 months about 25% new oak. At final blending 3% Shiraz is added to give the wine extra complexity.
