How it's made
Produced from the local Primitivo variety cultivated in the Salento peninsula of the Puglia region of southern Italy. Grapes were sourced from selected vineyards between 82º and 86ºF (28º to 30ºC) with daily pumping over and ten days contact with the skins. After malolactic fermentation the wine was bottled without oak aging.

The perfect partner to grilled meats, pasta dishes with meat or spicy sauces and hearty stews.
Tasting Notes
A warm, richly flavored red with aromas of blackberries, dried fruits and sweet spices. On the palate it displays plum and black cherry fruit with hints of dried figs – ripe with tannins balanced by fresh acidity.
