How it's made
Food Match

Harvested by hand, gently pressed with a pneumatic press, fermented in stainless steel in cool temperatures and slowly in order to keep the delicate fruit aromatics. 2019 started early in the first week of September. Two thirds of harvest were rain free with healthy and well ripened grapes. A few days of rain increased Botrytis and thus the potential for noble sweet wines. the whites are aromatic with elegant acidity and good extract. This wine is aged in stainless steel but also some oak barrels for added complexity. It was a very good vintage for Kloster Eberbach

Ideal with fresh salads, smoked salmon, oysters, seafood and cream cheese.

Tasting Notes

The bouquet is characterized by a fresh aroma of citrus fruits and juicy peach - accompanied by herbal notes and mineral overtones. On the palate, this German white wine impresses with a fine juicy characteristic, which is enveloped by a very fine acidity, mineral notes and a touch of spice. This white wine is very elegant in style and ends with a purity of apple, lime and mouthwatering zestiness..
