How it's made
From a 12 hectare plot in the village of Bussieres, to the south of the Maconnais region, with an average wine age of about 40 years. The soil is classic argilo-calcaire that suits Chardonnay so well and that lends elegance and finesse to the final wines. 10% of the wine is barrel aged to give a more textural, slightly creamy element.
Food Match
Will be a perfect pair with a cream sauce, such as shellfish chowder. Great with a vegetable risotto and pan fried fish as well.
Tasting Notes
Classic chardonnay from Southern Burgundy- fine and buttery with floral notes on the nose. A wine of substance and finesse on the palate. Discreet presence of oak with a hint of zestiness.
