After doing ‘Sea Me’, we felt it was wrong to leave the meat lovers
without their own wine...from rare to well done, and for those that
want both (Pittsburgh), don’t worry this wine will be up to the task,
at the very least it’ll ‘meat’ you half way..

How it's made
Our partnership with the Caselles family has seen us source this wine from from low yielding
vineyards in Mendoza's Agrelo region. This is Malbec for purists. 1,000 metre plus altitude
helps the variety ripens slowly, and ensures the grapes' alluring aromatics are preserved. This is
crafted with respect for the wonderful fruit we have sourced. Gentle extraction techniques are
used to capture the juicy vibrant red and blackcurrant fruits which are hallmarks of this variety,
but care is also taken to preserve the violet scent which can make Malbec oh so pretty.
Goes great with grilling, or pretty much any meat!
The wine has a bright, lifted nose with freshly picked black berry fruits seamlessly dovetailing
with expressive violet notes. The palate is juicy but balanced. Ripe berry fruits are abundant,
whilst gentle spice adds dimension. It's weighty with soft, gentle tannins and an enduring fruit
