Nuevo Mundo Carmenere, 2018 (Organic)
This Carmenere is delicate and presents a deep color. On the nose it has spicy notes, commonly related to this variety, which are nicely integrated with moderate oak. It has a medium structure and velvety tannins making it very seductive and approachable.

How it's made
The grapes were harvested in the latter half of April, with an average yield of 4.4 lbs per vine. The traditional and most natural possible method of red wine fermentation was carried out, without the use of additives or external raising agents and only minimal use of sulphur dioxide. The wine was then stored for 12 months, predominantly in concrete tanks (70%) and also in old French oak barrels (30%), with the intention of enhancing the complexity of the wine versus imparting any wood aromas or flavors.

Tasting Notes
This Carmenere presents classic aromas of spice, blackberries, tobacco and leather. Shows fresh fruit intensity, with mid-palate weight backed by moderate acidity, a silky texture and ripe tannins.
