- A richly-flavored, spicy red with aromas of plum and black cherry. The ripe palate combines generous bramble fruit flavors with savory, lightly smoky characters, a hint of bitter chocolate and a nip of tannins on the finish.
- Grapes are sourced from southern Sicily, around Riesi Nero d'Avola's traditional heartland. Traditional fermentation is between 79oF to 86oF (26oC to 30oC) and between five to ten days maceration. This wine is bottled young with no oak aging.
